DHL Go Green
All of packages are sent to you throught DHL Express, and so we have joined their Go Green Environmental Protection Program! What does this entail? The implementation of electric bicycles and vehicles for pick up and delevery! DHL has successfully improved 30% of their carbon efficlency since launching this program in 2007, and has a goal of operating 70% of their services through electric solutions by the year 2025!
Deadstock fabrics are the left over fabrics of other fashion houses who had bought in excess. Usually, a brand will store their excess fabrics for as long as they can, until they are forced to dispose of them in landfills. We rescue those fabrics befor they are thrown away, and give them new life! So far, every single garment we've released has been handmade out of recycled fabrics, and we things changing any time soon!
Waste not, want not! We’ve searched high and low for the most sustainable option when it comes to our packaging. Our external packing boxes are made up of a high percentage of recycled paper; for the time being this is the best option available to us, but we will keep looking!! As for our internal gift boxes, we’re glad to share that they are made of 100% recycled paper! One down, one more to go!!
All of our garments are transported from production to our packing facility via Electric Vehicles! By doing this, we’re able to make sure we are not contributing to air pollution from harmful exhaust emissions! Let’s all take a deep breathe of cleaner air thanks to EV’s!
It's so important to support your local businesses and community! We're beyond lucky to be able to have our friends in production less then an hour away from the city centre, and so you'll find us checking in on our collections almost daily! Having a close relationship with our manufacturers is very important to us, as we strive to be as involved as possible when it comes to delivering the quality of garments that you deserve, all whilst making sure those ruffles are sewn in a safe and ethical facility!
